Amour a Laffut

Wow it's been really long since last time I posted here...

Anyway this is my new artwork. It's a recreation of William Bouguereau's "Amour a Laffut" (Love on the look out), done as a study.
I've always loved his paintings and the way he paint light and skin. So I did this to try and learn a little about skin and light. I also wanted to do this as a practise to train my eye. Meaning no overpaints, color picking and other shortcuts. Although the sketch was made using a grid, it took me more than 2 hours!
